I can come to you!

That’s right! If you choose to have me come to you, I will bring all backdrops, props, blankets, studio lights, and other necessary gear to you! We all know that being a parent of a newborn takes tremendous work. You are often up at wee hours of the night constantly feeding, soothing, cleaning, and cluster-napping when you can. Simply put... you are exhausted! It is a lot of work preparing your newborn and other young children for a photoshoot, then hauling them into the car, unloading, praying your other children won’t get antsy during the 3 hour newborn session, hauling them back into the car, and finally going home after a long day! You don’t have to worry about any of that if you choose to have us come to you! All you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the few hours someone else is hanging out with your newborn! =)

Safety and Cleanliness

It is my goal to create beautiful images for you of your newborn, however, the safety of your newborn is of the utmost importance. I am always up to date on my vaccines, including the annual flu shot and COVID-19. I take care to sanitize equipment surfaces and props as well as wash fabrics/outfits in gentle, hypo-allergenic detergent between every newborn session.

In-Home Sessions: Siblings are more at ease

If you wish to have family portraits done with an in-home newborn session, siblings are often more relaxed… there is no place quite like home. They are within an environment that is familiar and comforting to them, so they tend to be more at ease. Shy children tend not to be as shy. In fact, I often find many supposedly shy children excited to show me their rooms and their new toys! Quickly creating a bond with children who are being photographed makes it easier to be able to capture more of their personalities.

Access to beautiful newborn prop selections

You have the ability to design your own newborn sets! It is totally up to you whether you would like to have your newborn photographed in a cute newborn bed prop, a rustic bucket, or positioned on top of a blanket. I have many selections and will provide you a thorough questionnaire to design a session that you will love!

I am proud to be a 5 time international AFNS award-winning photographer. The AFNS AWARD is an international competition for photographers in the field of Newborn Photography & Maternity Photography. Photos submitted for the competition are evaluated by an international expert jury to include world-renown newborn photographer Ana Brandt.
